Committee Members Present: Marilyn Fenollosa (Chair); Charles Hornig, David Horton, Jeanne
Krieger, Joe Pato, Bob Pressman, Sandra Shaw, Melinda Walker.
Absent: Dick Wolk
Administrative Assistant: Elizabeth Mancini
Other Attendees: Wendy Manz, Capital Expenditures Committee liaison to the CPC (arrived at
3:10 PM).
Ms. Fenollosa called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM.
1) Vote to approve CPC Report to 2018 Annual Town Meeting-The Committee discussed
two changes to the draft report. Prior to the vote, Ms. Walker apologized to the
Committee for an erroneous statement she made during the CPC meeting on March 8,
2018. She had incorrectly stated that it was a requirement of the Department of
Housing and Urban Development (DHCD) that LexHAB comply with the public bidding
process.
After a motion duly made and seconded, the CPC voted (8-0) to approve the report as
modified and to authorize the Chair to make any additional non-substantive changes, as
necessary.
2) Community Center Sidewalk- Ms. Fenollosa reported that the Historical Commission
determined the gates at the entrance of the Community Center to be historic, thus
satisfying Town Counsel's opinion regarding the Community Center Sidewalk project.
After a motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned at 3:14 PM.
