20/20 Vision Committee Meeting
August 31,2018
Parker Room,Town Office Building
1625 Massachusetts Avenue 7:45 a.m.—9:00 a.m.
Members Present:Joe Pato, Fernando Quezada, Kathleen Lenihan, Dan Krupka, Peter Enrich
Members Absent: Bhumip Khasnabish, Carroll Ann Bottino, Peter Lee, Ginna Johnson,Alan Wrigley,
Andrew Dixon, Mark Manasas, Margaret Coppe
Visitor(s):Jyotsna Kakullavarapu,Tracy Horn
The meeting started at 7:49 a.m. (There was no quorum to call the meeting to order)
The minutes for July 27, 2018 were not approved
The meeting was primarily devoted to
■ Reviewing membership, recruitment, and attendance for meetings.
■ Discussing long range planning and long term goals for the committee.
■ Identifying upcoming topics to add to the committees' scope.
From discussions,we formulated the following decisions and action items:
Decisions
■ Inviting the new Town Manager to the November or December meeting.
■ Set a working group for visioning the 2020 Observance.
■ Developing a working group to analyze core values for creating a strong sense of community in
Lexington.
Action Items
■ Peter will reach out to Marian for her suggestions on the visioning process for the 2020
Observance.
■ Kathleen will reach out to Dr.Julie Hackett,the School Superintendent, to invite her to an
upcoming committee Meeting.
■ All members who have not updated their ethics training must renew and submit it as soon as
possible.

■ Friday, September 28, 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room
Subsequent Meetings
■ Friday, October 26, 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room
■ Friday, November 30, 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room
■ Friday, December 28, 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room
Meeting ended at 8:54 a.m.
