ARCHITECTTJRAL SIGNIFICANCE (Describe important architectural features and
evaluate in terms of other buildings within the community.)
Surrounded by houses built in the 1940s and 1950s when this neighborhood
was being developed, this house, with its beach cobble exterior and brick trim,
is unique. It was designed and built by the present owner, and was constructed
at two different periods. The two smaller sections (to the north) were built

windows, and the sunburst-type design over the door and windows. The largest
(south) section was part of the original plan but was added later; it has
(see Continuation Sheet)
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE (Explain the role owners played in local or state
history and how the building relates to the development of the community.)
This house was designed by the present owner, Mr. Trebino, and was built
in two stages: the two smaller (northerly) sections in 1945 and the larger
(southerly) living room section c. 1973. The Trebinos collected the cobbles
from beaches such as Hampton and Rye, and Mr. Trebino did all the masonry work
himself.

ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE
diamond panes in the large window and a chimney of both brick and beach cobbles.
The plan reflects the builder/owner's desire to have the "house of nine gables,"
although it is actually a house of nine dormers.
