Date March, 1984 developed in 1670s and 1880s; some mid-
twentieth century infill.

ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE (Describe important architectural features and
evaluate in terms of other buildings within the community.)
The house shares with other houses in the Bloomfield Street area of
similar date asymmetrical massing, exterior finishes combining, clapboards and
patterned shingles (in this case, staggered butt shingles on the second level) ,
and porches with Queen Anne detail. This house and numbers 27 and 37 on either
side were nearly identical when constructed. This one is the best preserved
of the three.
HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE (Explain the role owners played in local or state
history and how the building relates to the development of the community.)
First owner, Frank ;Iarren Coburn, had a stationery and printing_ business
and was a dealer in rare books.
