(Staple additional sheets here) ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE (Describe important architectural features and evaluate in terms of other buildings within the community.) Part of a planned community of contemporary homes, this house is individually designed. Like its neighbors, it is an example of the International Style and has similar exterior finishes (see Moon Hill area form) . The original house had a large stone-floored entry that opened onto a terrace and could be converted into a breeze- way by folding glass doors. The dining table rolled in channels between the dining room and kitchen, serving as a counter in the kitchen when not in use as a dining table. The house featured spaces that could be converted to accommodate future family growth: the dining room into an easily-supervised playroom and an area on the lower level into another bedroom and bath. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE (Explain the role owners played in local or state history and how the building relates to the development of the community.) This house was designed in 1948 by The Architects Collaborative (TAC) for the Sills, one of the few non-academic families in Moon Hill (see Moon Hill area form) .
