Seasholes Setting In a residential neighborhood Organization Lexington Historical Commission of closely spaced houses, this house is Date February, 1984 on a corner lot adjacent to the inter- section with a heavily traveled road. (Staple additional sheets here) ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE (Describe important architectural features and evaluate in terms of other buildings within the community.) This high-style bungalow is the only one of its kind in a neighborhood of generally more recent houses. It has distinctive elliptical fanlights with tracery over the sunporch casement windows and front door. The battered porch posts are covered with vertical panels up to the overhang and this detail is repeated in horizontal panels under the sunporch windows. The gable roof curves into wide, flaring eaves with the rafter ends visible. The foundation is of fieldstone; the end chimney of brick.
