Mr. Scammon, for many years prior to and including the 1920s and early 1930s, was Superintendent of.Public Works. for the town of Lexington. The interior was drastically altered in 1981 when the owner (Marie Boucher) removed old plaster, installed new plumbing, and completely redid the back entry and kitchen area. S.
