The father of Mrs. Mildred Clark, William P. Scammon, lived in this house.
Mr. Scammon, for many years prior to and including the 1920s and early 1930s, was
Superintendent of.Public Works. for the town of Lexington.
The interior was drastically altered in 1981 when the owner (Marie Boucher)
removed old plaster, installed new plumbing, and completely redid the back entry
and kitchen area.
