Pos. house moved to site 1834. Lot empty earlier . Has standard vernac. farm house
5 bay wide, 1 room deep, narrow stair porch 3 turn stair. Windows like P. P. Pierce
house - except 12 over 12 . Screen porch rear.
Note Variation. in window ie narrow side lights on center front. Similar to P. P. Pierce
(E-57) & Butterfield (E-12) .
Not on Hales 1830 map.
This was the home of Deacon William Brigham who came to Lexington in
1830. The Brigham family lived in one-half of the house and in the other half
lived Deacon Brigham's mother-in-law, Anna Munroe Muzzey, and his sister-in-law, .
Emily Muzzey. Deacon Brigham was a wheelwright and his shop was beside his
house. (He was a deacon in the First Parish Church.)
