Worthen, in the late 19t"century this was the home of Alonzo Goddard(1814-1886)who had a tinsmith shop in East Lexington, later at the Center and in Charlestown. His business at the Center was later taken over by his son-in-law,Everett Locke. Goddard came to Lexington in 1850 and served as selectman from 1852-56, 1865 and 1868-70.
