Miss Barry (E-46) says this was the original Pierce homestead. It is certainly
in Pierce territory.
MacKenzie, present owner, says house was moved from corner Maple & Mass. Ave.
to present location. Date?
(Eben Pierce house described as being "ancient" with long sloping roof once
stood at corner of what is now Maple &Mass. Ave. See Lex. Hist. Soc.
