In the 1880s the house was owned by William Henry Greeley. While repairs
or alterations were taking place in the early 1890s, the Greeley family moved
into the Hancock-Clarke house for a few months. (Wm. Roger Greeley left his
carved initials on a roof rafter of the Hancock-Clarke house!)

Col Revival entrance portico with columns supporting dentil molding at portico cornice.
Two story bay on S. side; surmounted by gabled pediment, first floor - 3 sided bay with
panels, "2nd. floor rectangular with overhang over side bay windows . Roof slate (grey)
with red band. One chimney on main block, one in wing, one in ell.
