Bedford Street was open6from the green to intersection with N. Hancock St.
in 1806. Built by Amos Muzzey for $2000.
See Form No. B-76. Another of the houses built after Bedford Street was
constructed in 1806. Land here was originally .part of the farm of the Rev.
Jonas Clarke.
This house was also used as a workshop and residence for employees working
for clockmakers Burr and Chittenden.
