Committee Members: Scott Burson,Jeanne Krieger, Hank Manz, Joseph Pato
Members Absent: Deborah Brown, Michelle Ciccolo, Laurie Peck
The meeting was called to order at 8:33 AM.
1) The Committee reviewed and approved the meeting minutes of February 15,
2018 by a vote of 4-0.
2) Review of Battle Green Use policy revision requests
Town Counsel reviewed the Battle Green Use policy recommended at the February 15
meeting and recommended language changes to sign restrictions and the removal of the
begging restriction. In addition, the Board of Selectmen had recommended simplifying
the Patriots' Day period to be the whole of April.
The revisions were approved by a vote of 4-0.
3) Discuss assignments for review of"dated" policies.
The Committee discussed the set of existing policies and the chair assigned review
responsibilities to each member. The chair will follow-up with a spreadsheet outlining
each assignment.
4) Discuss recommendations for committee membership
The Chair requested that members think of candidates to fill Ms Brown's seat which
will soon be vacant.
