Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, Joann Gschwendtner, Lynn
Hopkins and Stephen Politi; Associate Commissioners: Sara Chase and Eleanor MacQueen.
The minutes of September 2, 1999 were approved.
PETITIONS HEARD:
Mass. Avenue at Waltham Street — Police Kiosk Building — Continued to November 4 meeting to
allow the Selectmen time to review the plans.
32 -42 Worthen Road — Steve Mahoney received approval for a Battle Green Apartment sign and
8 Muzzey Street — The Clothes Line — Patricia Tropeano and Allison White received approval
for a 6' x 2' white exterior sign with black lettering and logo. Letter size not to exceed 6 ".

31 Curve Street — Fred Conroy, representing David and Bill Rothfuchs. was asked to make some
additional changes to the plans of a proposed house to break up the boxy look and to also get
input from the neighbors. No decision on demolition. Meeting continued to November 4.
1341 Mass. Avenue — Amy Nastasi received approval for new roof and ridge vent. Hearing
continued for more detail of front door overhang. Certificate No. 99C -67
1430 Mass. Avenue — Richard Bechtel representing Jim and Chris Connor, presented plans for
addition off kitchen. Hearing continued for more detail on brackets and windows.
CONTINUED HEARINGS
45 -47 Waltham Street — Richard Bechtel, representing Guardian Savings, received approval for
signage, canopy and benches. Certificate No. 99C -60
INFORMAL HEARINGS
2101 Mass. Avenue— Mary Ellen Rodman discussed options for residing, replacement of front
door, new trim and gutters. Will return for formal hearing.
Cablevision — Rob Travers and Tim Broderick discussed the power boxes that they would try to
put outside the historic district area. They will return for formal hearing.

8 Curve Street — Joe Hunt returned regarding a new garage/breezeway addition. Will return for
formal hearing with detailed information.
