Town of Lexington Historic Districts Commission Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, Joann Gschwendtner, Lynn Hopkins and Steve Politi; Associate Commissioners: Sara Chase, Elaine Doran, and Eleanor MacQueen. 6 Parker Street — Peter Liano was unable to attend the meeting and requested that the hearing be continued to the March 4 meeting. 1351 Massachusetts Avenue — Jeff Ellowitz and Cindy Schlessinger received approval to reroof Christopher Skelly, Director of Local Government Programs for the Massachusetts Historical Commission, meet with the commission. The draft of A Guidebook for Historic District Commissions was discussed. CONTINUED HEARINGS: 73 Waltham Street — (Bell Atlantic) - Jacques Fauteux reviewed plans for an extension of the fire escape, removal of a door and work on the roof penthouse. The work was approved but is subject to review upon completion. Certificate 99C -05. 6 Bruce Road — The Nusses requested a continuation of the hearing 1707 Massachusetts Avenue — (Colonial Shoe Repair and Colonial Tailoring) - The Commission approved a projecting sign for the front of the store and a wall sign for the rear. Certificate 99C- 06. 10 Woburn Street — (Gingerbread Construction Company) — John D'Orsi requested the hearing be continued.
