1 Bedford Street . Buckman Tavern — Peter Chalpin from the Town Engineering Office sought a
certificate for a back flow preventer housed in a green metal box. It is a necessary part of the
newly installed sprinkler system. It was approved. Certificate 98C -65
1707 Massachusetts Avenue — Sharlet Trilling had called and withdraw her application for
signage.
1646 Massachusetts Avenue — Leslie Motta of Paint A Plate called to say she was withdrawing
her application for window boxes.
10 Bedford Street — (R. Bechtel stepped out during the consideration of this application) Bill
Ericson presented plans for a one story addition and porch to the side and rear of his property.
The plans were approved. Certificate 98C -66
17 Depot Square — Elizabeth Stevenson was represented by Albert Schrader in her application
for an open sign at Artisan's Way. The Commission offered to approve a sign to be used on
Sundays and evenings but Mr. Schrader declined on behalf of his client. The sign was denied.

72 Waltham Street — The Zanins sent a letter requesting a continuance of their hearing as they
were not ready with the final plans.
7 Muzzey Street — Joyce Quinn brought in the bracket for her previously approved projecting
sign. It was approved. Certificate 98C -68
755 Massachusetts Avenue — Chris Francis represented Nextel in its application for a wireless
communications facility at the Follen Church. The plans for the screening of the related air
conditioning units were approved. Certificate 98C -69

They were approved pending the review of the specifications by Ian Adamson.
