These plans were approved and the discussion of the driveway was continued until the April hearing. 98C-14 5 Meriam Street—Ray Thill represented Dellaria Salon. A projecting two-sided sign with an accessory sign hanging beneath was approved. 98C-15 1299 Massachusetts Avenue—John Serrio appeared on behalf of Judy Newberne. The plans for the enclosure of the breezeway and a rear shed dormer were approved. Mr Serrio will return the following month with exterior colors. 98C-16 1646 Massachusetts Avenue— Sharon Spaulding sought approval of a temporary construction sign. It was approved. 98C-17 1430 Massachusetts Avenue—Christine Connor requested approval of a skylight. It was approved. 98C-18 43 Waltham Street—Rand Richmond had requested a hearing regarding a sign at 43 Waltham Street. No one showed up to do a presentation and there was no information so the petition was denied. 21 Hancock Street—Mary Knuth received permission to remove an exterior window 98C-19 536. 542. 561 735 739 and 1006 Massachusetts Avenue—John Frey presented the request of the East Lexington Community Association for approval of flower barrels at various locations in East Lexington. The locations were approved. 98C-20 1625 MASSACHUSL I IS AVENUE•LEXINGTON,MASSACHUSETTS 02420 y Historic Districts Commission Meeting March 5, 1998, page 2 7 Raymond Street—Eve Horwitz proposed removing the aluminum siding and replacing it with clapboard. This was approved. She will return next month for the color 98C-21 CONTINUED HEARINGS 45 Waltham Street—The sign as presented is an interior sign and not within the jurisdiction of the Commission. 703 Massachusetts Avenue—John Ellis will return in April with more definitive plans. 11-15 Waltham Street—Colors for this property were approved. 98C-22 10 Bloomfield Street—Matthew Sadler presented plans for an addition. The plans were approved with a reduction in the number of skylights. 98C-23 1749 Massachusetts Avenue- John Hunter presented a sign for Lexington Creamery It was approved. 98C-24 INFORMAL HEARINGS 16 Belfrev Terrace—Deleading will involve replacing windows. The Commission felt that simulated divided lights would be appropriate. 1997 Massachusetts Avenue—Chuck Valenza presented the roofing materials for St. Brigid's rectory The Commission felt that that the proposal was appropriate and would need no further approval as it is a replacement. 794 Massachusetts Avenue—Michael Keegan is adding a second floor
