PETITIONS HEARD:
INFORMAL HEARING:
HISTORIC DISTRICTS COMMISSION
Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Walter Bergler, Elaine Doran, Joann
Gschwendtner, Eleanor MacQueen, and Stephen Politi.
72 Waltham Street - Michael Saunders presented plans for enlarging a proposed dormer which
had been approved by the Commission in February of 1997. The Commission felt there was not
enough information available so the hearing was continued. An exterior vent for a gas heater was
approved. Certificate No. 97-85.
1844 Massachusetts Avenue - Angelo Busa sought approval for roofing work. The three roofs
were approved. Certificate No. 97-86.
1761 Massachusetts Avenue - Carol Bugbee showed awnings for the BankBoston site. There was
no consensus that the awnings would be approved at a formal hearing.
