The Commission felt that the sign should have two posts instead of one, and agreed with the applicants that the sign should not stand too high. Approval of both sign and awning xas accordingly VOTED. subject to the Board of Appeals' approval of the free-standing sign. At 9x00 P.M. the Commission considered the second flower shop applica- tion of the evening, this one from Wayside Florists, Wayne and Joseph Busa. The final hearing of the evening concerned the application of Corydon Wyman to change the color of asphalt shingles (now green) on the roof of the house at 1106 Massachusetts Avenue. The Commission rejected a green blend shingle and VOTED to approve a GAF charcoal grey blend, if the appli- cants should choose that instead of a replacement with the same green shingles. The applicant later advised the Chairman that they would use the charcoal grey blend.
