HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-02-11 HISTORIC DISTRICTS COA4MISSION A Heating of the Historic Districts Commission, adjourned from February 4, 1981, xas held at 8x00 P.M. on February 22, 2982 in the Selectmen's Meet- ing Room, Toxn Office Building, Lexington. Present xere Commissioners John R. Packard, Chairman; Roland B. Greeley; Ann Wallace; S. Laxrence Whipple; and Associate CoHmissioner Hoxard C. Nason. The Heating xas called to vote upon matters considered in detail at the February 4th meeting. It xas VOTED to approve the Dailey~A4cCorHick plans for 1620 Massachu- setts Avenue, after Attorney William Dailey explained what materials xould be used on the different roof surfaces, and after further discussion of shutters for the Baptist Church side. Details rill be incorporated in the certificate. It xas also VOTED to approve Gaye Picerel"~s "Goodies" sign and ivory painted barnboard for panels at the entrance to 2734 Massachusetts Avenue. Some concern xas expressed about the use of plexiglass letters for the sign, but the HeHbers xere satisfied that its appearance xould be attractive, provided flat paints xere used. Finally it xas VOTED to approve bills for publication, stationery, and clerical services, in the total amount of $113.90, after xhich, the meeting xas adjourned at about 9e00 P.M. c~- P,~.".._,Q John R.
