HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-03-24 • HISTORIC DISTRICTS COMMCSSION A meeting of the Historic Districts Commission was held on Friday, March 24, 1972, in Room G15 of the Town Office Building, Lexington, at 7~'+5 P.M. Present were Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquith, Chairman; Philip B. Parsons, Secretary; George E. Graves; Georgia H. Williams; and Asso- ciate Commissioner Albert T. Pitt. Mr. Pitt was appointed to serve for Commissioner Donald J. Shaw who was unable to be present, Mr. Jaquith submitted a drawing of proposed changes in the front of the McGee Building at 703 Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the East Village District. Following considerable discussion, it was decided that the applicant would be asked to come in and discuss this with the Commis- sion informally before scheduling a hearing. Following discussion on the application of Wilson Farms,. Inc., it was moved, seconded, and unanimously VOTED to issue a Certificate of Ap- propriateness to Wilson Farms, Inc. for the erection of a two-family dwelling on the premises at 632 Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the East Village District. Participating in this decision were Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquith, Philip B. Parsons, George E. Graves, Georgia H. Williams, ate Associate Commissioner Albert T. Pitt.
