The historic Districts Commission held a meet3.ng on Thursday, Septem+
ber 23, 1971, in the Bird Room of the Cary l~morial Bnildir~, Lexington.
Present xere Commissioners Wilbur M. Jaquithy Chairman; Philip B. Persona,
Secretary; George E. Graves; Donald J. Shax; and Asaocia.ts Commissioner
Albert T. Pitt.
Mr. Jaquith called the meeting to order at 732 P.M. to act on the ap-
placation of the Minute Man Park Realty Trust for a Certificate of Appro»
priateneas with respect to the erection oY a building on the area bounded
by Massachusetts Avenue, Meriam Street, Depot Square, and Depot Placs.
Mr. Jaquith read a Notice of Determination disapproving the application for
the erection of the building on the plans snbaaitted, xhich Notice xaa
drafted in accordance with Yote 4 of September 22,.1971 "that the Chairman
prepare the necessary Notice of Determination of the Gommission•a decision
Mr. 3hax moved that the Notice of Determination, as read, be app
proved. Mr. Parsons seconded the motion. The motion xas unanimously VOTED.
Participating in this deoision were Commissioners Wilber M. Jaquith Philip
B. Parsons, George E. Graves, Donald J. Shax, and Associate Commissioner
Albert T. Pitt.
The meeting xaa ad3ourned at 7j'J6 P.M.
