MINUTES OF A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 9, 1970
A meeting of the Historic Districts Commission was held at 7t~5 P.M. on
Wednesday, December 9, 1970, in the Bird Room of the Cary Memorial Building,
Lexington. Present were Wilbur M. Jaquith, Chairman; Philip B. Parsons, Sec-
retary; George E. Graves; Max H. Straw; Georgia H. Williams; and Associate
Commissioner Franklin C. Hudson.
Mr. Jaquith stated that June C. Augusta was ill and therefore unable to ~
be present at this meeting and that an extension of her application for the
fencing and sign at 91~ Massachusetts Avenue to January 31, 191 had been
received.
2~s. Jaquith stated that Edward Duncan, President of the Lexington Sav-
ings Bank, had informed him that the Bank wished to withdraw its application
for a sign and that such a request would be submitted to the Commission.
Mr. Jaquith stated that he understood the property on the corner of
Waltham Street and Vine Brook Road had been sold and that an application
would be submitted for removal of the front porch, demolition of th® garage,
installation of a parking area, and painting of the property.
The meeting was adjourned at 8s25 P.M.
