HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-05-05 • May 5, 1965 The Historic Districts Commission met at the time and place specified in the public notice of the hearing on the application of Lexington Trust Company for a certificate of approFri teness with respect to the erection of an addition to the existing building at 1822 Massachusetts Avenue, which is within the battle Green District. Present were Ruth Bevan, Philip B. Parsons, George E. Graves and Associate Commissioners Donald B. White and Max H. Straw. The chairman being absent from the meeting, upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED that Ruth Bevan be elected Chairman Pro Tempore for this meeting. The chairman read the letter of application dated April 6, 1965, Mr. Raymond Scheublin, President, Lexington Trust Company, was present in behalf of the applicant. Also present were Messrs. Hubbard and Whitten of Thomas James Company, Architects, who presented the commission a perspective drawing of the proposed addition to the present building. Many questions were asked by the commission members. Since there were no elevation drawings, plot plans, etc., it was agreed to adjourn the hearing until the next meeting of the commission at 8:30 P. M. on Wednesday, May 19, 1965. There was discussion regarding the mailing of the notices of hearing to the Associate Commissioners. It was agreed that the Clerk would mail these notices to the Associate Commissioners in the future. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 P. M. P B. Pa ons Clerk
