Creta, vhairaan, r'tlbur '. Jaquith, Ruth Reran, and Associate Comoiseioners Ralph A. Sumba, and 'arl B. Bryant. The secretary being absent tram the meeting, upon motion duly made and seconded, it was TOTED that Ruth Reran be elected Secretary i'ro Tempore for this meeting. Present at the resting was Dr. Iran Douglas of Sensoott Corporation. 1k'. Douglas stated that the land awned by Sensoott Corporation on dorthen Iced and Bedford Street had been leased to Stop and Shy 1ao., who will canetruet the buildings on the property. lie introduced atr. Silver and Mr. Pine in charge of engineering and construction and Br. Gros*ey in charge of Real Estate, all connected with Stop and Shop Inc. They presented the osaa1esiOA with a plot plan showing where the proposed two buildings would be constructed and a rough architeatuiral rendering. They also snowed piotures of their buildings in concord, 'ass., 'hest Hartford and dorwalk Connecticut. Many questions were asked by the commission members. It was agreed that a seating be held on Ttsdnredq, January 6, 1965, to further discuss this matter. Also present it the meeting were Lester B. Lechtsr, Architect, Ernest Oiroux, Jtis Brown and George Matheson, representing Minute Man Park Realty Trust. Donald R. Grant and Ralph A. Burnham ware excused from the meeting end George T:. Graves vas present. Upon motion rimy made and seconded, it was TOTED that Wilbur R. ;with be sleeted Chairman r'ra Tseepore for the remainder of the meeting. Mr. Lsahter presented the commission with prospective, of the ?ropesed building on Mssaschusetts Arenas at Merlon Street, which showed the sl+wstions from Depot Square and Du kman Tavern. Mach dieaaesion was held rewarding the proposed plans, and tr. isopter stated that he would submit an application for a certificate of appropriateness as soon as possible.
