The Historic Districts Commission met at 8100 P. M. on D[onday~
February 2l.~., 196!4, i.n the Confereneo Room, Cary Ball.
Present were Donald R. Grant, Chairman, Philip B. Parsons, Secretary
Ruth Bevan, George E. Graves and Wilbur Jaquith.
The chairman r cad the letter received from rester N. Lechter Associates
Inc. with regard to the application of Rayco Realty Trust for a certificate
of appropriateness. Hearing will be h®ld on 1Pednesday, March 19611, in the
Setec'tmen's xo@a•
Also prosent at the meeting was Mr. Laster Fd. iechter, Arehitect~ who
presented tba commission with scale drawings of the proposed building to be
discussed at the public hearing on B[areh 1961x. EAr. Lechter gave a brief
description of the buildings and the commission members asked questions.
The ehairsan read a letter received from Mr. Robert Weyer of the
Planning Board, dated F®bruary 7, 1964 which enclosed a notice of two zoning
proposals. The Planning Board requested a recommendation of the Historic
Districts Commission on each proposal.
Also present at the meeting were ~4r. I. W. Douglas of Sanscott Corporation
and Mr. Norman Richards, Lawyers in behalf of Lexington Plaza Realty Trust
who showed the commission the proposed zoning change as it applied to their
property on Worthen Road. ?arious questions were asked by the xembers of

Ort motion made and duly seconded, it was unanimously DOTED that the
commission inform the Planning Board in writing that the coaamiasion feels tht
it is nom within its function to make recommendation withroapect to proposed
changes in the zoning by-laws.
