The Historic Districts 'ommission met at 6:45 P. M. on
April 16, 1963, in the Selectmen' s xoom for further
consideration of the application of David C . pinkham, for
a certificate of appropriateness for the erection and display
of a sign on the premises at 29 Depot Square, which is within
the Battle Green District.
Present were Donald R . Grant, Chairman, Philip parsons,
Secretary, Wilbur Jaquith and Associate Commissionersttalph
A. Burnham and William B. Hoyt.
Also present was David C. pinkham.. The commission
members discussed the proposed sign with pqr. Pinkham. Mr.
Parsons reported on his observations of the sign in question,
which was discussed in detail with the applicant. The
applicant stated at the hearing that he wished to 'withdraw
his application for a certificate of appropriateness rather
than prosecute it further and that he had no objection to
having the minutes of the meeting read to that effect.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to
accept the withdrawal of the application, without prejudice,
to the filing of a new application.
The meeting was adjourned at 7: 30 P. N.

act on the petition of David C. Pinkham, the chair
designated associate commissioners Ralph A. -Ournham
and William B. Hoyt to serve in this action
