HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-08-16 r:u,,ust 16, 1962 41/ The Historic Districts Commission met at the time and place specified in the public notice of the hearing on the application of Town of Lexington for the erection or install- ation and display of two Registered National Historic Landmarks Plaques, one to be located on the Duckman Tavern and one on the Battle careen, both of which are within the battle Green District. Present were D©nald R. urant, Chairman, Philip B . Parsons, Secretary, Donald E. Legro, Cyrus Wood, and Associate Commissioner Ralph A. Burnham. The chairman read the letter of applicatio:_. Appearing in behalf of the application was Mr. Alan G. Adams, Chairman of the Board of Nelectmen. Also present were Mrs Ruth Morey, and Mr. Donald P ioyes. The plague to be displayed was presented to the commis ,ior_. Various questions were asked the applicant. On motion made and dzly seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to grant to Town of Lexington a certificate of appropriate- ness with respect to the erection, installation and display of t o Registered National Historic Landmark Plaques, one to be located on buc_kman tavern and one on the battle Green.
