MEETING OF APRIL 8, 1985
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Offices, was
called to order at 7:35 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Smith with members Cripps,
Flemings, Uhrig and Planning Director Bowyer present. Mr. Sorensen arrived
during item 111.
SUBDIVISION OF LAND
109. Farmhurst V, off Bridge Street: On the motion of Mrs. Uhrig seconded by
Mrs. Flemings, it was voted 4-0 to approve the request of William Hamilton dated
April 4, 1985 that the time for action on the definitive subdivision plan be
extended two additional weeks to May 79 1985.
110. Ridge Estates III, off East Emerson Road; Special Permit: The Board agreed
to remove two paragraphs from the draft. On the motion of Mrs. Uhrig, seconded
by Mr Sorensen, it was voted 4-0, with Mrs. Flemings abstaining, to deny the
special permit for the reasons stated in the decision.

ARTICLES FOR 1985 TOWN MEETING
111. Article 13,
CM, CH Districts, Floor
Area Ratio: The Board agreed that they
would stay with
its recommendation stated
in the report, that the FAR for the CH
'
district be 0.25
and for the CM district
be 0.20 regardless of amendments from
the floor, which
the Board will oppose.
However, the Board still would vote for
the motion if it
is amended as some FAR within the range stated in the Warrant,
is preferable to
no restriction.
The meeting was
adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
