HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-03-27PLANNING BOARD MINUTES MEETING OF MARCH 27, 1985 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in Room G-15, Town Offices, was called to order at 7:17 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Smith, with members Cripps, Flemings, Sorensen, Uhrig and Planning Director Bowyer present. ARTICLES FOR TOWN MEETING 94. FAR, CM, CH Districts: On the motion of Mr. Sorensen, seconded by Mrs. Flemings, it was voted unanimously to recommend to the Town Meeting that the amendment be approved, and to approve the report as written. 95. Article 15, Parking Space Elevations: Mr. Cripps and Mr. Bowyer reported that there had been a meeting earlier in the day with members of the Conservation Commission and the Town Counsel. It is proposed to change the wording of the motion to refer to the FEMA "Flood Insurance Rate Map" rather than the FEMA "Boundary Floodway Map" and to add language about a survey and hydrologic calculations certified by a registered land surveyor or a professional engineer. It was agreed to to so. ' 96. Article 45, Street Acceptance: It was agreed that if the course of debate on the article justifies it, the Board may speak in support of the Selectmen's use of criteria in determining priorities for the acceptance of and construction of formerly unaccepted streets. The Board supports the acceptance of Garfield and Emerald Streets and Phillip Road. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m. Judith J. Uhrig, Clerk 1
