Mrs. Smith joined the meeting in progress. ARTICLES FOR 1984 TOWN MEETING 111. Article 20, Lot Width: The Board reviewed this article which the Town Meeting had referred back to it. It was agreed to clarify that the lot width requirement would apply only to newly created lots and would not apply to the "grandfathered" lots under Section 7.4.1. Mrs. Smith joined the meeting. 112. Article 24, 16 Hayden Avenue, CD District: (Mrs. Uhrig disqualified herself from discussion or voting on this rezoning.) The Board reviewed and approved the report making a favorable recommendation on this article. 113. Article 46, Acceptance of Streets, Emerald Street: Mr. Bowyer showed a layout of Emerald Street as approved by the Board of Selectmen. The Planning Board could not understand why the Selectmen were proceeding with Emerald Street as it did not meet the criteria for spending money relative to other unaccepted streets. The layout, which has a truncated "hammerhead" turnaround, is not one which the Planning Board would approve if presented to it in a definitive subdivi- sion plan. 114. Planning Board Members a. Board of Appeals: Mrs. Flemings reported on the hearing held on April 26, 1984. The most significant case, 231 Bedford Street, on which the Planning Board had made an unfavorable recommendation, was withdrawn as the proposal had not been submitted to the Conservation Commission.
