HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-03-251 1 1 PLANNING BOARD MEETING March 25, 1980 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the chairman Dr. Friedman with members Sandy, Nichols,and Sorensen present. Dr. Sandy kept the minutes of the meeting. Because of increased printing costs, increase in the charges for the various Planning Board publications was considered. It was unanimously voted that the price of the Zoning Map will be raised from 50p to $1.00; the price of the Zoning District Maps will be raised from $1.00 to $2.00 and the price of the Zoning By -Law will remain at $2.00. The motion under Article 65 (Sign By -Law) was reviewed, amended, and was ART.65 SIGN unanimously approved as amended. BY LAW MOTION The report of the Planning Board to Town Meeting on Article 60 (Parker School) was reviewed, amended and was unanimously approved as amended. The report on Article 55 (re -naming of Emerson Rd.) was unanimously approved as written. The report on Article 68 (Brookside - RD) was reviewed, amended and unanimously approved as amended. ART.60 PARKER SCHOOL REPORT ART.55 REPORT EMERSON RD. ART.68 REPORT BROOKSIDE The reports on Articles 69 and 71, both dealing with the Shaker Glen ARTICLES 69,71 Brook multi -housing proposal, were reviewed. Reports on Articles 69 REPORTS and 71 were unanimously approved subject to alterations by the chairman SHAKER GLEN on the descriptions of the relationship between these two Articles. The report on Article 72 (Prescott Village - RD) was unanimously approved ART.72 REPORT as written. PRESCOTT VILL. The report, opposing passage of Article 73 (Stop & Shop to CD) was re- ART.73 REPORT viewed, amended and was approved as amended by 4 members of the Board. STOP & SHOP Dr. Friedman voted in opposition. The Planning Board's Supplementary Report on the dousing Policy Plan, to HOUSING POLICY be filed separately from the Joint Report of the Planning Board and the PLAN REPORT Housing Authority, was reviewed and was unanimously approved, subject to editing by Dr. Friedman and Mrs. Wheaton. The Land Use and Current Development Report for 1979/80, as required LAND USE & under Chapter 71, Section 71, M.G.L., was reviewed and was unanimously DEVELOPMENT approved as amended. REPORT Mrs. Nichols reported on a review meeting with the Engineering Depart- ment and the interviewing of consultants for the Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey, Phase II.
