March 19, 1979
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:01 p.m.
by the chairman Mr. Zabin with members Friedman, Sandy, Wheaton, Nichols,
planning director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present.
Draft report on Article 75, Rezoning to CD, Hartwell/Westview, was re- ARTICLE 75
viewed. Mr. Briggs reported on D.A.C. member John Frey's favorable re- HARTWELL/
port on the proposal as a good transitional development. Upon a motion WESTVIEW TO CD
duly made and seconded, it was unanimously voted to recommend passage
of Article 75. Mr. Zabin drafted the recommendations section of the report,
which was read aloud. The final draft will be acted upon on March 21.
Mr. Briggs' draft report on Article 77, Morrow Crossing, was reviewed. ARTICLE 77
John Frey's favorable comments on the plan regarding overall design and MORROW
siting of units were noted. Draft Memorandum of Understanding on provi- CROSSING
sion by developers of low -moderate income housing, as revised by Mr.
Zabin, was reviewed. Further revisions were made and upon a motion duly
made and seconded, the Memorandum was unanimously approved as amended.
It was agreed that the Planning Board will hold an additional meeting on
Thursday, March 22, at 8 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
