April 30, 1979
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:02 p.m.
by the chairman Mr. Zabin with members Sandy, Nichols, Friedman, planning
director Briggs and administrative clerk Mrs. Snow present. Mrs. Wheaton
attended a 7 p.m. Board of Selectmen's meeting:on the moratorium on sale of
tax title lots, and joined the meeting at 7:14 p.m.
The Board reviewed a plan of land at Allen St. submitted with Application
Form A79-7, showing a narrow strip of land to be separated from Lot A and
combined with the abutting Lot B. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it
was unanimously VOTED:
The plan entitled "Plan of Land Allen Street, Lexington, Mass.", dated FORM A79-7
April 25, 1979, by Oiva E. Hintsa, submitted on April 26, 1979, by ALLEN ST.
William Costello, with Application Form A79-7, showing Lot A and Lot B COSTELLO
at Allen St., requires no approval under the Subdivision Control Law.
Minutes of Planning Board meetings on December 18, and 20, 1978, were
unanimously approved as corrected.
Mrs. Wheaton, upon her return, reported that the Selectmen voted to ex-
tend the moratorium on sale of tax title lots to June 15, 1979. This
was deemed to be sufficient time for the Housing Authority to complete
details on the Scattered Site Housing program, and to be sure that no
additional lots would be needed. The Planning Board's suggestion to
retain only potentially buildable land for future scattered sites programs
(see minutes of April 25) will be discussed by the Board of Selectmen at
a later date.
