April 25, 1979
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:15 p.m.
by the vice chairman Dr. Friedman with members Sandy, Wheaton, Nichols,
planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present.
A list of deficiencies in plans and other materials submitted to Town
Meeting by rezoning proponents, compiled from records of the Town Clerk by
Laura Nichols, was reviewed. Messrs. Cataldo, Moore, and Smith will be
advised of these omissions.
Third draft of the special permit for Willow Ridge subdivision was re- WILLOW RIDGE
viewed and revised. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was SPECIAL PER -
unanimously VOTED: MIT
To grant a special permit, under the provisions of Section 39 of the
Zoning By -Law of the Town of Lexington, Mass., for a subdivision plan
entitled "Willow Ridge, Lexington, Mass.", dated November 20, 1978,
revised February 28, 1979, by Frank C. Gelinas and Associates, Engineers
and Architects, Landsail, Inc., applicant; subject to terms and condi-
tions as listed in the special permit.
Mr. Briggs reported that proponents of Article; 79 (Highland Village RD ART.76 & 79
rezoning) and Article 76 (Trinity Hill RD rezoning) will support motions
for indefinite postponement at Town Meeting.
In response to request by the Board of Selectmen, the Planning Board will MORATORIUM
transmit its recommendation on extension of the moratorium on the sale TAX TITLE
of tax title lots beyond May 31, 1979, at the Selectmen's meeting on LOTS
April 30, at 7 p.m. Mrs. Wheaton agreed to represent the Planning Board.
The Board will recommend that any tax title lots can be released which, by
size or in combination with other abutting tax title lots cannot be used
for building lots. Any lots which could be utilized in the Scattered Site
Housing Program should be retained until the Lexington Housing Authority has
no further interest in them.
The meeting was adjourend at 7:55 p.m.
