HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-04-021 1 1 PLANNING BOARD MEETING April 2, 1979 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by the chairman Mr. Zabin with members Sandy, Nichols, Wheaton, Friedman, planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Report on Article 78, Potter Pond rezoning proposal, was reviewed and recommendations of the Planning Board considered. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the report recommending passage of Article 78 was approved by a majority of the Board. Mr. Zabin, Mrs. Nichols and Dr. Friedman voted in the affirmative, and Dr. Sandy and Mrs. Wheaton, who will issue a minority report on the proposal, voted in opposition. Copies of the minority report (on Articles 76, 77, 78 and 79) in draft form were distributed to the Board members. Report on Trinity Hills rezoning proposal was reviewed and amended. The report, with recommendation against Town Meeting passage as voted by the Board on March 22, was unanimously approved as revised. ARTICLE 78 POTTER POND TRINITY HILL ARTICLE 79 It was reported that a citizens' group comprised of CB land owners, CB PARKING will move that Article 67, CB Parking, be indefinitely postponed and ARTICLE 67 that the concept as presented in the Article be further studied by the Planning Board and a committee of the property owners. A petition to that effect, signed by the owners affected, registering opposition to Article 67, was noted. Some of the members expressed general agreement to reconsider the Planning HIGHLAND VILI Board's position in opposition to the Highland Village rezoning pro- ARTICLE 79 posal (Article 79) pending conference with the developer regarding redesign of the road and unit layout plan.
