Mr. Zabin, at an 8 p.m. appointment, will inform the Select- men that the Planning Board wishes to re -submit its Ch.808 Zoning By-law Articles at a special town meeting in mid-October. It was agreed that any public education or reviewing committee to be formed to study Ch.808 revisions should be under the auspices of the Planning Board or TMMA. At 8:30 p.m., Mr. Zabin returned to report on the meeting. The Selectmen were not generally opposed to the idea of a special town meeting, but were unwilling to be specific about a date or to commit themselves as to whether the Planning Board articles, if the only matter for consideration, warranted holding this extra meeting. A reviewing committee, comprised of members of the Planning Board, Board of Appeals, Board of Selectmen, TMMA, D.A.C. and citizens, to report to the Planning Board will be formed. The committee will set its own agenda. Mr. MacKenzie will prepare a draft letter of invi- tation to prospective members and Mr. Zabin will draft the charge to the committee, for review at the May 9th Planning Board meeting. It is hoped that the early report of the committee will contribute to defining a date for a fall town meeting.
