PLANNING BOARD MEETING
March 30, 1977
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7 p.m.
by the chairman Mr. MacKenzie, with members Clarke, Friedman, Zabin, Wheaton,
planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendance
was Laura Nichols, Lexington Minute -Man.
Plan submitted with application Form A77-8, showing Conservation easement FORM A77-8
at Mass. Ave. and Woodbury Rd., was reviewed. Upon a motion duly made MASS.AVE &
and seconded, it was VOTED: WOODBURY RD.
CONS. COMM.
The plan submitted on March 29, 1977, by W. C. Prentiss, Conservation
Director, with Application Form A77-8, entitled "Plan of Land in
Lexington, Mass.", dated January 12, 1977, by Miller & Nylander, showing
Conservation easement (Lots A, B and C at Mass. Ave. and Woodbury Rd.)
requires no approval under the Subdivision Control Law.
The Colangelo petition to the Board of Appeals for construction of an
office building at 20 Hartwell Ave. was reviewed. Mr. Briggs reported
on Mr. Colangelo's request for Planning Board position on a request for
variance regarding relocation of the proposed building 25 ft. closer to
the lot line.- Mr. Colangelo propose to purchase abandoned "Hinchey Rd.",
from the Town which would enlarge his lot on that side of the site. Engr.
Dept.. recommendations on the proposal were read. The petitioner will be
advised that the Planning Board does not object to the relocation,pro-
vided the building size is not increased. He will also be asked to show
future parking capability, for construction of additional spaces if need
should arise.
Board of Appeals notices for March 31 were reviewed. No Planning Board
comment will be made on the petitions.
The meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
