PLANNING BOARD MEETING
October 25, 1976
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
by the chairman Mr. MacKenzie with members Friedman, Zabin, Clarke, Brown,
planning director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in atten-
dance was Anthony Casendino, D.A.C.
It was agreed that regular Planning Board meetings will be held on each NOVEMBER MTG.
Monday during the month of November. SCHEDULE
Mr. Zabin informed the Board of the composition of the subcommittee formed
for the purpose of redefinition of the Central Business District (as dis-CBD STUDY
cussed on October 12, 1976). Mr. Sorensen, who will be chairman of the SUBCOMMITTEE
group, will arrange for the first meeting.

Mr. Bellizia was told that if he allowed for a right-of-way through the
4 -lot subdivision to adjacent undeveloped land (Cosgrove) for possible
future extension of Bates Rd., the Planning Board would favorably consider
waiver of the length requirement for culs-de-sac.
At 7:45 p.m., John Bellizia, owner of a parcel of land at the end of Bates
Rd., met with the Board for discussion of development of the site, and
to obtain input on Planning Board view as to extended length of the BELLIZIA,BATES

Board of Appeals decisions on the Golden Hand and Muzzey Corp. petitions GOLDEN HAND
(hearings on 10/14/76) were noted, and conditions of permits were read MUZZEY CORP
by the chairman. B/A HEARINGS
At 8 p.m., a public hearing on Drummer Boy Green Phase II subdivision DR. BOY GREEN
was opened. The hearing was closed at 8:55 p.m. PHASE II
Following the public hearing, content of a Certificate of Action on the CERTIFICATE OF
subdivision was considered. Mr. Briggs will prepare a draft certificate ACTION
reflecting the points discussed, for action of the Board on November 1.
The meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
