August 9, 1976
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
5:30 p.m. by the chairman Mr. MacKenzie with members Clarke and Friedman,
planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. The Town Clerk
had been duly nofified of the change in meeting time due to the threat of
hurricarP-Belle. Also in attendance was Joe Gavaghan, Lexington Minute Man.
Plan showing land at Wellington La. Ave, and Hanson Ave., submitted with
Application Form A76-20 was reviewed and Mr. Briggs explained the combi-
nations of lots as shown. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was
VOTED:
The plan entitled "Land on Wellington Lane Ave. & Hanson Ave.", dated FORM A76-20
7/21, 1976, by Miller and Nylander, submitted on July 26, 1976, by HANSON/WELL-
John Tuttle, with Application Form A76-20, showing Lots 198, 200, 201, INGTON LA.AVE
Pt. 202, Pt. 203, Pt. 204, 205, 206, 207, 221 thr. 224, at Hanson Ave. TUTTLE
and Wellington Lane Ave. requires no approval under the Subdivision
Control Law.
It was also voted to authorize Mr. Briggs to sign the plan on behalf of
the Board.
Plan showing land of Mildred E. Whitney at 1415 Massachusetts Ave., was FORM A76-21
reviewed, and Mr. Briggs explained the purpose of the submission: purchaseWHITNEY
of Lot B by abuttor David S. Williams. Upon a motion duly made and MASS. AVE.
' seconded, it was VOTED:
The plan entitled "A Compiled Plan of Land in Lexington, MA", dated
August 4, 1976, by Miller & Nylander, showing Lots A and B at Massa-
chusetts Aven., submitted on August 9, 1976, with Application Form A76-
21 by Mildred E. Whitney, requires no approval under the Subdivision
Control Law.
It was also voted to authorize Mr. Briggs to sign the plan on behalf of
the Planning Board.
Request from Ernest J. Tingley, developer, for extension of time on BLOSSOM HILL
Blossom Hill Estates was noted. It is expected that the pending Court ESTATES
action involving the subdivision will be settled by mid September. Upon EXTENSION
a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED:
To extend to September 15, 1976, the time on or before which the
Lexington Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan
entitled "Blossom Hill Estates", dated October 20, 1975, revised May,
1976, by Northeastern Eng'g Assoc., as requested by Ernest J. Tingley,
applicant.
The meeting adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
