May 10, 1976
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
7:30 p.m. by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members Brown, Friedman,
MacKenzie, planning director Uriggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present.
Also in attendnace was John Frey, D.A.C.
Minutes of April 5, 1976, and April 12, 1976, were approved as written. MINUTES 4.5 &

Letter from Harmon S. B. White, dated May 5, 1976, requesting that the LEXINGTON VILL-
preliminary subdivision plan entitled "Lexington Village, submitted by AGE, BEN FRANK -
Ben Franklin Homes, Inc., be withdrawn, was read by Dr. Clarke. It was LIN HOMES
voted to approve the request. Discussion followed regarding procedures
to ensure the opportunity for Planning Board input in the type of devel-
opment to be planned for the tract between Maple and Woburn streets. The
planning director will schedule a meeting of the developers with the
Board to discuss areas of interest in the planning procedures. John Frey,
D.A.C., agreed to give suggestions as to a desirable design scheme.
Plan showing conservation easement over land to be subdivided, which FORM A76-12
lies partially in Winchester and Lexington, submitted with Application HIGH ST.MARINO
Form A76-12, was reviewed, and endorsement of the plan by the WINCHESTER
Winchester Planning Board noted. Upon a motion duly made and seconded,
it was VOTED:
The plan submitted by James Marino on May 4, 1976, with Application
Form A76-12, dated May 3, 1976, by Fred R. Joyce Co., showing land
at High St., Winchester and Lexington line, requires no approval
under the Subdivision Control Law.
At 8 p.m., the meeting was recessed to hold the adjourned public hearing PUBLIC HEARING
on the definitive plan for Blossom Hill Estates subdivision. BLOSSOM HILL
ESTATES
The meeting was resumed at 9:33 p.m.
The Board reviewed preliminary subdivision plan for Alexander Estates ALEXANDER EST.
and examined photogrammetric map of the area. Mr. Briggs reported on SUBDIVISION
his and Cliff Prentiss' site review of the parcel and pointed out wet
portions of the parcel. Mr. Couette, applicant, was present and partici-
pated in discussion of drainage plans. Upon a motion duly made and
seconded, it was VOTED:
To approve the preliminary plan for Alexander Estates subdivision
entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated March 10, 1976,
by Miller & Nylander, submitted on March 22, 1976, by Win S. Couette
for the estate of Daisy G. Wilson, applicant.
It was also voted that the approval of the plan is conditional upon
provision by the applicant of proposed drainage plans, and plan showing
existing and proposed contours of the site.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
