PLANNING BOARD MEETING
March 22, 1976
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
7:30 p.m. by the chairman, Dr. Clarke with members Friedman, Brown,
MacKenzie, Zabin, planning director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow
present.
Reorganization of the Planning Board, as required under Procedural Rules
of the Planning Board, was considered. Upon a motion duly made and
seconded, it was voted that no changes be made regarding the offices of
Chairman, Eric T. Clarke, Vice Chairman, Paul J. MacKenzie, and Clerk,
Albert P. Zabin.
Preliminary plan for subdivision of land between Woburn/Maple streets LEXINGTON

eirticle 91, 1976) was reviewed and letter from the developer, H.S.B. White,
dated 3.17.76, explaining his action with respect to the proposed rezoning
was ntoed. It was agreed, as suggested by Mr. Zabin, that Planning Board
action on the submission be deferred pending investigation of legal
matters concerning timing of plan submission and legal advertising of
the public hearing on the proposed rezoning amendment.
Mr. Brown's draft report on Article 89, SPS planting requirements, was ARTICLE 89
reviewed and approved as amended.
Draft of report on Article 94, basement elevations, was approved as ARTICLE 94
amended.
Members were invited to attend a meeting of the Conservation Commission CONS.COMM/
on March 23, following public hearing on Minuteman Ridge II subdivision PL.BD. MTG.
for discussion of 1976 land acquisition articles.
Meetings of the Planning Board will be held on April 5, 12, and 26,1976.APRIL MTG.
Meeting on April 19 will be omitted because of the celebration of SCHEDULE
Patriots Day.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
