tion of the refusal to allow amendment of the Covenant for Woodpark COVENANT
Estates subdivision. Zoning Enabling Act reference regarding such matters
was read by the chairman. Changes requested by Mr. Lane, involving post-
ing of surety in a lower amount after more extensive construction in the
subdivision is completed, were explained. The members voted to allow the
procedures as outlined if legally advisable, and provided that the
Covenant be rewritten in such a way as to require construction of roads
be completed or bond posted for remaining work before any lot is trans-
ferred.
Articles to be proposed by the Planning Board, concerning clarification T.M. ARTICLES
of the Zoning By-law were considered: corrections in numbering involving
references to RD District and Swimming Pool regulations, and replacement
of the term "Building Inspector" with "Building Commissioner".
Proposed Article concerning stream setback requirement, as outlined in
report presented by the wetland subcommittee, was noted and the concept
discussed. It was the consensus of the Board that Mr. Zabin, chairman
' of the subcommittee, continue with development of this Article. Distri-
bution of the abovementioned report to various Town Boards, TMMA, Engin-
eering firms, and various citizens groups was proposed. The subject
matter of the five Articles contained in the report was noted, and it was
agreed without dissent that the Planning Board position will be estab-
lished following public hearings. It was unanimously agreed that Legal
Advertisements for the hearings to be held in February will be published
as soon as the maps for filing with the Town Clerk are prepared.
The meeting adjourned at 11 p.m.
