August 25, 1975
' The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:32 p.m.
by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members Zabim, MacKenzie, planning director
Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendance were Fred
Friedman, Conservation Commission, and John Frey, D.A.C.
Minutes of Planning Board meeting of July 28, 1975, were approved as
presented.
Request for extension of time on Ingleside subdivision was noted. Upon
a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED:

EXTENSION
To extend to September 9, 1975, inclusive, the time within which the
Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan entitled
"Site Plan of Land, Ingleside, Lexington, Mass. 434533", dated March 19,
1975, by MacCarthy & Sullivan Engineering Inc., as requested by
Emilio V. Spagnuola, Treasurer, Kingston Builders Corp., applicant.
Hydrological report on Ingleside subdivision, propared by R. Dennis
Reinhart, consultant, was noted and its conclusions reviewed. Copies
of the report will be provided to the Conservation Commission and to
resident of the subdivision, Mr. Lynch, who was present. Mr. Briggs
reported that Mr. Spagnuola will share expense of the study with the
Planning Board.
Mr. Briggs' draft letter to the Board of Appeals regarding the petition
' of CR Trust (hearing 8/28) was reviewed. Planning Board recommendations
on a previous petition of CR Trust, dated May 5, 1975, were read by the
chairman. It was agreed that the conditions as stated in the May 5th
letter are applicable to the current petition and will be referenced,
but that an additional condition regarding provision of sewer and water
service from the City of Waltham will be added. Following revision,
Mr. Briggs will sign the letter on behalf of the Board.
Messrs Tingley, Lind and Lundberg, representing Trinity Covenant Church
met with the Board at 8 p.m. for discussion of a preliminary plan for
a Planned Unit Development on land off Allen St. Street layout, with
possible connection to Blossomcrest Rd., topography of the site, and
draiange system were discussed at some length. The developers will
present a preliminary subdivision with proposed as well as existing
contours, in the near future. Mr. Friedman explained areas of interest
to the Conservation Commission regarding maintenance of existing runoff
pattern.

The September meeting schedule was considered. It was decided that no SEPT. MTG.
Planning Board meeting will be scheduled for the first week, due to SCHEDULE
celebration of Labor Day, with regular meetings on subsequent Mondays.
Memo from the Board of Selectmen requesting Planning Board recommendations
on requests to purchase tax title lots on Lowell St. and Banks Ave. TAX TITLE LOTS
' was noted, and the lots in questi n pointed out on Assessors maps. It LOWELL ST. &
was agreed that in each case, the lots should be sold to the abuttors BANKS AVENUE
as requested, with the stipulation that they be combined with the land
of the purchaser.
Board of Appeals notices of hearings on August 28, 1975, were noted.
No comment will be made.
The meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
