April 23, 1975
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members MacKenzie and Brown, planning
director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendance was
Richard Magnuson, D.A.C.
James Karatheodore met with the Board for further discussion of his KARATHEODORE
proposal to seek B/A permission to build on an undersized lot at the SANDERSON RD.

conclusion was reached as to Planning Board position on the proposal.
Mr. Roy Cone, Tektronix, was present to explain a modification of pre-
viously approved plans for the Bedford St./Hartwell Ave. facility, show-
ing relocation of a driveway. In order to avoid the necessity of an
additional Board of Appeals hearing, Mr. Cone was advised to request by
letter, a B/A decision as to the degree of deviation from the original
plan and whether a hearing will be necessary. The Planning Board was in

1975, by Miller and Nylander, submitted on April 17, 1975, with Appli-
cation Form A75-9, by Robert L. Johnson, requires no approval under the
Subdivision Control Law.
Plan submitted by C-R Trust, Martin Cerel Trustee, with Application Form FORM A75-10
A75-10, showing the proposed location of a Postal Services facility in
the Hobbs Brook Basin area, was reviewed and matters regarding access,
provision of utilities, were discussed briefly. It was noted that the
site lies partially in "W" zone. It was decided to advise the applicant
to withdraw the plan, pending conference with Postal Services officials,
who will be invited to attend the May 28 meeting.
Dr. Clarke reported on the intention of Spaulding and Slye, developers DRUMMER BOY
of Drummer Boy Green, to again appear before the Board of Appeals to B/A
satisfy certain legal requiements of the financing agency, with regard
to RD zoning.regulations. It was generally agreed that the Planning
Board will not oppose the granting of several variances to do with set-
back, area, and land for conservation.
