HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975-03-17PLANNING BOARD MEETING March 17, 1975 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:32 p.m, by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members Zabin, Brown, MacKenzie, planning director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendance were Gary Marshall, D.A.C., and Margaret Reynolds, Lexington Patriot. James Karatheodore met with the Board to present a preliminary plan KARATHEODORE which he intends to present to the B/A.. for variance to build on an SANDERSON RD. 18,000+ acre lot (Lot D -B) at the end of Sanderson Rd. Its relationship to Sanderson Road Extension subdivision (approved in 1964) was discussed in an effort to ascertain whether the developethad been awarded damages for the undersized lot as a result of construction of the turn -around, which would obviate any claim to the B/A for hardship. Further inves- tigation on 1964 procedures will be made. Mr. Zabin's draft letter in response to Alfred P. Tropeano's request, LARCHMONT EST. dated March 3, 1975, for waiver of cul-de-sac length in Larchmont Estates subdivision, was reviewed and approved as written. Mr. Costello's draft report of the Planning Board on Article 68 regard- ARTICLE 68 requirement for certified plot plans was approved as written. CERT. PLOT PLAN Draft report by Mr. Costello on Article 71, concerning a zoning enforce -ARTICLE 71 went officer, was also approved as written. ZONING ENF. OFFICER Revised draft report on Article 69 concerning restriction on garage strnetion, was approved and signed. Report on Article 70, regulation for private swimming pools, was approved and signed. Report on Atticle 67, commercial roads through residential areas, was approved and signed. Report on Articles 82, 83, 84, "Buffer Zone" Articles, was approved and signed.
