LEXINGTON PLANNING BOARD
Aprill, 1974
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
7:30 p.m. by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members L. Brown, S. Brown,
Costello, MacKenzie, planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow
present.
Dr. Clarke's draft of Planning Board recommendations to the Board of
Appeals, in opposition to the granting of the Devito/Valleyfield St.
petition (3/18 hearing), as requested in a letter from the B/A
dated 3/20/74, was reviewed and approved as to content, subject to
correction following research on details.
The report of the Planning Board to the Selectmen on street acceptance,
to be presented at Town Meeting, was signed as approved on March 25.
Report of the Planning Board on the Drummer Boy Green condominium
proposal (Art. 105/106) was signed as approved on March 25.
Report of the Planning Board on the Piper Ridge rezoning proposal
(Art. 107) was approved and signed subject to correction of a
typographical error.
Draft by Mr. Brown of report on Wetland Protection Articles 73, 74,
75, 76, recommending indefinite postponement, was reviewed and
approved. Mrs. Brown will make editorial changes.
Dr. Clarke's draft letter to the Bd. of Selectmen, containing Planning
Board position on formation of a Town Advisory Council as proposed by
the Town Mgr. in his Feb. 25th memo, was approved as written.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
