PLANNING BOARD MEETING
April 4, 1973
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
7:45 p.m. by the chairman Mrs. Brown with members Clarke, S. Brown,
planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present.
The Board reviewed the revised plan for Drummer Boy Green, submitted DRUMMER BOY
on April 4 and preparation and content of a supplementary Planning
Board report to Town Meeting were discussed. It was agreed that
Mrs. Brown will draft a statement indicating unanimous Planning
Board approval of the revised rezoning proposal.
Mr. Briggs reported on pregress regarding the hiring of a Town
Engineer. The Planning Board has been invited by the director of
Public Works to interview the major candidates, at one of its
regular meetings.
Mr. Briggs informed the Board of the outcome of his interviewing of
planning intern candidates, and recommended that Douglas Whitney be
given consideration for employment. Arrangements for Planning Board
interview of Mr. Whitney on April 9 will be made.
The meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
