September 23, 1970
At 8:00 p.m. the Board met at the Cary Library with the Library P/B MEET WITH
Trustees and the Permanent Building Committee regarding parking LIBRARY TRUSTEES
in back of the library. & PER. BLDG. COM.
At 9:00 p.m. the Board resumed meeting in its office with chairman
Lund, members Clarke and Worrell and planning director Zaleski
present.
Plans submitted with Form A applications 70-6A and 70-7A were FORM A 70-6A
reviewed by the Board and, upon a motion duly made and seconded, and A 70-7A

Next discussed was the correspondence between the Lexington Federal MUNICIPAL PARKING
Savings and Loan Association and Robert Lyon relative to the nego- LEX. FED. SAVINGS
tiations for municipal parking space between Muzzey and Clarke & LOAN & MR. LYON
streets involving some land of the Lexington Federal. It was
decided to write to the Lexington Federal substantially as follows:
The Board received both letters. Mr. Lyon has stated the matter
correctly. The Board will be happy to meet with representatives of
the Lexington Federal Savings & Loan Association to discuss its and
the Town's parking needs in the center.
The Idylwilde subdivision was discussed next with the specific IDYLWILDE
emphasis on the drainage at Marratt Rd. DRAINAGE
The Board approved the printing of 500 copies of the Zoning By -Law APMVAL FOR
by Benjamin Franklin Smith, the lowest of the three bidders, at PRINTING ZONING
$267.00. BY-LAWS
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
