April 20, 1970
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was opened in its office
in the Town Office Building at 7:30 p.m, on April 20, 1970 by Chairman
Lund with members Brown, Clarke, Graham, Worrell and planning director
Zaleski present.
Mr. Philip Herr and Mr. John Myer met with the Board to discuss the
proposal for the Meagherville study. Following a general discussion
of the various approaches to and aspects of the study, Messrs. Herr
and Myer withdrew.
Next, Mr. John T. Brown met with the Board to discuss his Mbagherville
proposal.
After Mr. Brown withdrew, Mr. Robert H. Colbourne, his attorney, Mr.
Jenney and Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, prospective purchasers of Lot B, met
with the Board and submitted for endorsement as not requiring approval
"Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated April 19, 1970 by David W.
Perley, C.E., together with the application form A #70-13. It was
noted that Lot B has no street frontage and 102 ft. along a right-of-
way known as Mountain Rd., while Lot A has 150 ft. on the same right-
of-way. It was decided to check with the Town Counsel whether the plan
would qualify for endorsement with a notation "Lot A not to be built
upon unless frontage is provided on a street built to town specifications."
The minutes of the meeting of April 13, 1970 were approved as amended.
The letter prepared by the planning director conveying Planning Board's
recommendations relative to the proposed D & B office building on
Militia Dr. was approved and signed.
